![]() ![]() Try taking a Hellion, and a Plague Doctor. At low lvl its only bad if it stacks (hence I hate dogs). Having a decent healer will undo most of the damage for bleed and blight without spending money on anti venom or bandages. While I understand you don't want to financially invest in these guys just remember the higher the lvl and the better armor the more resistant they are to blight, bleed and stress even before you factor in trinkets. I'm addicted to AOE attacks but if they are not strong enough to kill one in one hit they are more likely to multiply. Try to kill Ectoplasmas in one hit, or at the very least one round. The enemies that give me the most problems are those stupid dogs, very dodgy. ![]() With most of the PROT heavy enemies being in front for half the battles I'd rather save space for heroes that can focus on bringing down enemy numbers before focusing on the fatties in front. Its the only Dungeon I actively avoid the Leper, Crusader as damage dealer (though tank and stress heals and back up healer is ok) due to their reliance on front row hits. Bounty Hunter is also great for dealing extra damage to Cultists and Brigands without spending a teammates turn stunning or marking. Speaking of Occultist, weakening/mark curse from him + Arbalist, Bounty Hunter, and or Hound Master helps take down heavy PROT enemies. Man at Arms who marks himself and uses retribution helps with all the fungus ppl, blanket fire and rain of whips from Brigand groups + Occultist healer to undo all that damage. Blighter attacks are pretty much useless in half the battles but Plague Doctor's double stun helps damage control and she can upkeep nasty status effects. Hellion is great for this place because she has a hard hitting bleed ability. I grew to love the Weald for the same reason (needing deeds) but I also tend to love characters that inflict bleed which is super useful when they stack. ![]()
